On a beautiful July 15, 2024, the Spring Valley Golf Club was abuzz with the spirit of camaraderie and community as 134 golfers gathered for the much-anticipated “Tee it Up For Veterans” golf tournament. It was a picture-perfect day, the kind we used to call “a day made for golf.”
This event was a definite success, not just because of the beautiful weather or the well-organized play, but due to the overwhelming support it received from the community. With 27 sponsors backing the tournament and 12 dedicated volunteers ensuring everything ran smoothly, it was clear that the cause resonated deeply with all involved.
The tournament wasn’t just about golf; it was about giving back. The players and supporters rallied together to raise a remarkable $22,000 for the Honor Bell Foundation, a cause close to the hearts of many. In addition to this, further funds were allocated to Operation Circle Back and the United Veterans of Colorado, ensuring that the impact of this event would be felt far and wide.
As the day ended, there was a substantial sense of achievement and unity among everyone present.
